The Jets roll to a 4-0 win over the Devils becoming first team in the NHL to 50 wins. They leapfrog the Capitals into 1st place in the league. They also are now six points up on the Stars for 1st in Central (although Dallas has a game in hand).

It was another sellout crowd in Winnipeg who were rowdy from before puck drop.
Connor Hellebuyck moved into a tie for 7th overall for most games played (561) with the Jets 2.0. He is now tied with Bryan Little.
The Jets only needed 58 seconds to open the scoring as Alex Iafallo got his 12th of the season with the no-look backhand. The two assists were significant as Kyle Connor‘s primary gave him 50 apples for the first time in his career while Mark Scheifele‘s secondary meant he is the all-time franchise leader moving past Blake Wheeler.
David Gustafsson reporting for duty. He scored in his first game back in action after being a healthy scratch for nine games. The two goals were scored in 1:58 which were the two fastest goals scored by Winnipeg to start a game as per Sportsnet Stats.
With the Jets on the PP Alex Iafallo scored his second of the game to make it a 3-0 game. Nikolaj Ehlers got his 62nd point of the season which meant the Dynamic Dane exceeded his points total (in 82 games) from last season in 63 games. He’s just two points back of his career high (64 in 82 games set in 2016-17).
With under a minute remaining in the middle frame Mark Scheifele got his 36th goal of the season which was his second point of the game. It got him to 80 points for the third time in his career. He’s on pace for 89.
Connor Hellebuyck gets his 7th shutout of the season (new career high), his 44th shutout of his career and his 42nd win of the season (just two off his career high).
