Winnipeg Jets Rick Bowness provides update on Cole Perfetti (out 7-10 days)

The Jets have a long list of skating wounded right now and that list of six is now at seven with the addition of rookie Cole Perfetti who was injured back on December 22nd at the end of the game (this hit it is believed) in Boston.

He would miss the next game in Washington and at the time it was indicated by associate coach Scott Arniel that Perfetti would be evaluated further in Winnipeg.

Today following morning skate as the Jets prepare to face the Wild, head coach Rick Bowness provided this update:

“He’s out a week to ten day.”

Tough news for both the team as he is the third top six player to be injured and the player as Perfetti’s name was being mentioned in the Calder race.
