Winnipeg Jets reduce training camp roster sending Brad Lambert and Nikita Chibrikov to Moose; down to 26

While some folks were hoping that Brad Lambert and Nikita Chibrikov were going to make the big club for the start of the 2024- 2025 season, the team announced this morning that the pair of Jets prospects had been sent down to the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.

That leaves the Jets with 26 players in camp with Ville Heinola and Logan Stanley still to go on IR.

This means that the final roster move for the Jets is likely going to be either Eric Comrie on waivers or Elias Salomonsson being sent to the Moose which would get them down to 23 players. Unless of course there is something else we learn at practice that would change that equation.
