Winnipeg Jets reduce training camp roster by 16

The Jets cut down today to one non-playing group and a playing group which meant today they needed to reduce their training camp roster. Here are the moves they made to get from 47 players to 31:

These players have been assigned directly to the Moose:

Oskari Salminen
Tyrel Bauer
Declan Chisholm
Simon Lundmark
Wyatt Bongiovanni
Alex Limoges
Chaz Lucius
Henri Nikkanen
Daniel Torgersson

The following players are on waivers before they can be assigned to the Moose:

Mikey Eyssimont
Leon Gawanke
Jeff Malott
Ashton Sautner

Provided they clear they will be assigned to Manitoba.

Three players released from their PTOs:

Nicholas Jones
Cole Maier
Evan Polei

These three (aka the Lunch Pail Line) all have contracts with the Moose and will head to Manitoba.
