Winnipeg Jets recall Ville Heinola from the Moose on an emergency basis

The Jets had recently recalled Ville Heinola for their road trip but since that was on an emergency basis they were required to send him down to the Moose which they would have done anyways on Monday (even if it was just a paper transaction) to ensure he would be eligible to play for Manitoba in the AHL playoffs.

Today they announced he had been recalled up to the big club where he will likely be the seventh Dman.

Now that the trade deadline has passed the Jets only have four regular recalls from the AHL before the playoffs.
