Winnipeg Jets recall Ville Heinola from the Manitoba Moose; place Nate Beaulieu on LTIR

The Jets lost Nate Beaulieu in the 1st period of the game against the Stars on Friday night and he didn’t return. As a result the Jets have recalled 2019 1st rounder Ville Heinola from the Moose this morning before they head out on the road for three games.

He had a spectacular assist on Sunday in a 5-3 win for Manitoba over Rockford. He’s played 31 games in the AHL and has two goals and 16 assists.

To make this move the Jets had to place Beaulieu on LTIR to ensure cap compliance.
