With the status of Dmitry Kulikov unknown at this time the Jets have recalled Tucker Poolman from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. He was scheduled to be in Belleville today to play with the Moose against the Senators but instead will be in California with the Jets.
His game has steadily improved of late with the Moose and he has looked very strong with his skating and decision making. He even scored his first AHL goal this past weekend.
The Jets placed Shawn Matthias on IR retroactive to January 12th. Matthias health status was listed as week-to-week by coach Maurice on Sunday.
