Winnipeg Jets recall Thomas Milic from the Manitoba Moose

Fresh off an impressive 2-1 victory last night for the Moose as they defeated the Wolves 2-1 in Winnipeg, netminder Thomas Milic has been recalled to the Jets for the first time in his career. The 2023 5th rounder made 28 saves on 29 shots in the win on Thursday including a barrage in the final frame that saw Chicago outshoot Manitoba by a 13-0 edge and a 24-5 run that began in the 2nd.

The third year pro is 5-2-2-1 with a 2.14 GAA and a .921 save percentage this season.

This is the first ever recall to the NHL for him. The Jets are shutting down Connor Hellebuyck to have minor arthroscopic knee procedure according to Darren Dreger of TSN.

Gonna be quite the opportunity for the BC product.
