Winnipeg Jets recall Quinton Howden from the Moose; Perreault to IR

Quinton Howden has been a key contributor with the Manitoba Moose this season.  The Manitoba native has seven goals and two assists in 11 games for the Jets AHL affiliate.  Today the Jets announced that they have recalled him.

I looked at Jets time on ice from last night in Colorado to see if any players didn’t finish the game. Kyle Connor didn’t play after the 52 minute mark. Nikolaj Ehlers had a 36 second shift between 51 & 59 minute mark of 3rd. My guess is that with bumps & bruises it is easier to have Howden available to play as Jets were without an extra fwd. Moose are on road in Cali.

In conjunction with this move the Jets have placed Mathieu Perreault on IR.
