Winnipeg Jets recall Nikita Chibrikov from the Moose; assign Brad Lambert to Manitoba

Both the Jets and Moose are off today but that didn’t stop them from making a transaction as the NHL club of Winnipeg announced they had recalled prospect Nikita Chibrikov (2021 2nd) from their AHL affiliate while at the same time assigning prospect Brad Lambert (2022 1st) back down to Manitoba.

Nikita Chibrikov leads the Moose in scoring with 13 points (5G 8A) in 19 games although that’s damning with faint praise since they currently sit 31st in the AHL in goals scored. His fifth goal of the season was a nice one that he got this weekend:

For Lambert he returns to the American League having played another four NHL games. In his 16 games with Manitoba this season the Finnish prospect has three goals and eight assists.

Both teams are in action tomorrow night with the Jets welcoming the Bruins to Winnipeg while the Moose are in Calgary to take on the Wranglers.
