With word from Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun that JC Lipon left the Saddledome with his arm in a sling it was expected that the Jets would recall a forward from the Moose.  Today they recalled Nic Petan who has been playing very well for Manitoba.  In 47 games with the Moose he has nine goals and 23 assists.  As his confidence has grown he has really started to control play in the AHL.

Now that Dustin Byfuglien is healthy the Jets have returned Julian Melchiori to the Moose as he was up on an emergency recall basis.
