Winnipeg Jets recall Kristian Vesalainen from Moose; reassign Mikhail Berdin

The Jets had recalled Mikhail Berdin from the Moose yesterday to backup Eric Comrie in last night’s game against the Stars as number one netminder Connor Hellebuyck was away from the team celebrating the birth of his son.

The Jets are off today but the team announced that they had reversed the transaction they made on Tuesday whereby they have now recalled Kristian Vesalainen and have returned Mikhail Berdin to Manitoba.

The Moose are set to depart on Thursday for a six-game road trip.
