Winnipeg Jets recall Julian Melchiori from the Manitoba Moose

Jets recall Julian Melchiori from the Moose this morning.  With Jacob Trouba still set to serve one more game of his suspension and Tobias Enstrom still a little ways away from returning the Jets needed the defenceman who they sent down to the Moose to get in some games during the bye week.  He played in three games with the Moose adding one assist.

Since the team didn’t recall Brandon Tanev, who had been sent down with Melchiori last week, it seems likely that Drew Stafford has recovered from his illness and is ready to play and/or Marko Dano could also be ready to play tomorrow night against the Wild.   We will have to wait to see what happens at practice this morning.

Update:  Both Dano and Copp were in regular uniforms at practice.
