Forward Jeff Malott is the type of player who isn’t afraid to get to the front of the net and use his 6’3 frame to cause some disruption in front of the opposing goalie. He scored 14 goals for Manitoba in 34 games last season while adding six assists which earned him a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets for the 2021-22 season (he and I spoke about that here).

He began the year with the Moose and has contributed 18 goals and 10 assists in 46 games this season.
This is his first recall to the NHL.
If he plays he would be the sixth player (either a prospect or one developed by organization) to make their NHL debut for the Jets this season joininh Dylan Samberg, Johnny Kovacevic, Declan Chisholm, Cole Perfetti and Kristian Reichel.
