I’ve been talking about Jansen Harkins for some time now as the forgotten member of the vaunted Jets 2015 draft class but the 2nd rounder is forgotten no longer as he has earned his first ever recall up to the big club. Harkins, 22, has been sensational this season putting up 31 points (7 goals, 24 assists) in 30 games for the Moose. He hit that same point total in 70 games last season.
Harkins was AHL Player of the Month for November. He was just the second ever Jets draft pick to win Player of the Month in the AHL. The first was Jack Roslovic back in 2017.
Harkins currently sits third overall in AHL scoring.
