Winnipeg Jets recall Dominic Toninato on an emergency basis from the Moose

The Moose ended their losing streak last night in Belleville where they defeated the Senators 3-2 to kick off their six-game road trip with a big win. They are in Toronto today where they are scheduled to face the Marlies this afternoon as they play three games in three days.

However Dominic Toninato, who picked up an assist in the win, won’t be there because he’s been recalled back to Winnipeg by the Jets on an emergency basis.

No indication as to what is up with the Jets. It is expected to be a very optional skate today but associate coach Scott Arniel is speaking as his team prepares to end their five-game homestand tonight against the Coyotes.
