Winnipeg Jets reassign Dominic Toninato to the Manitoba Moose

Been a busy few days for Dominic Toninato. He played back-to-back games for the Moose on Tuesday and Wednesday in Texas before he was recalled by the Jets on Thursday to play in Colorado with them in their season finale.

He ended up at centre between Morgan Barron and Saku Maenalanen playing just over 11 minutes in his first NHL game since November 27th.

Today it was announced by Winnipeg that he had been reassigned to Manitoba. The Moose are in Illinois today for practice as they prepare for tomorrow’s game against Rockford. They have one more game after that in Chicago on Sunday to wrap up their regular season. They still don’t know who their first round opponent will be.
