Winnipeg Jets reassign D prospect Dmitry Kuzmin from the Norfolk Admirals to the Moose

The Moose returned to Winnipeg on Sunday following a six-game road trip which saw them finish 3-3-0. When Declan Chisholm‘s conditioning assignment ended on Saturday it necessitated his return up to the Jets leaving the Moose with only six defenceman.

Those six (Kyle Capobianco, Dean Stewart, Simon Lundmark, Ashton Sautner, Tyrel Bauer and Artemi Kniazev) will now have one more added to their ranks as Jets prospect Dmitry Kuzmin (2021 3rd) has been reassigned from the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL.

In ten ECHL games this season he has one goal (see here) and one assist. He was a late add to the Admirals roster as the Moose didn’t reassign him there until November 2nd although he didn’t get into any AHL games yet for Manitoba.

The Moose practice this week before they play a pair of games this weekend against the IceHogs.
