The question as to who will be backing up Vezina winner Connor Hellebuyck next season has been answered as the Jets announced that Laurent Brossoit will be back in the fold for at least one more year.

Brossoit has signed a one-year contract with an average annual value of $1,500,000.

This upcoming season with be the third one in Winnipeg for the Port Alberrni, BC product and it means the organization has stability in goal for both the Jets (Hellebuyck/Brossoit) and Moose (Eric Comrie/Mikhail Berdin) next season.
