Winnipeg Jets re-assign four players from 2017-18 training camp

Last year the Jets first re-assignment sent 17 players home but to kick things off this season just four players were re-assigned back to their junior clubs.  Those four were:

Leon Gawanke – Cape Breton (QMJHL)
Luke Green – Sherbrooke (QMJHL)
Skyler McKenzie – Portland (WHL)
Jordy Stallard – Prince Albert (WHL)

The Jets now have 28 forwards, 16 defencemen and five goaltenders remaining at training camp.

I wrote about Luke Green earlier today as he sustained a major injury at the Young Stars tournament earlier this month in B.C.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
