Winnipeg Jets re-assign five players from 2017-18 training camp

We knew the Jets were planning on trimming the roster down by this coming Monday.  While the groupings for today’s training camp are likely a pretty good indicator of who will be on the Jets roster, the team reduced group 1 by five more players, re-assigning them all to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.  Moose training camp kicks off on Monday.  The five players who were re-assigned:

Francis Beauvillier
Patrice Cormier
Kirill Gotovets
Peter Stoykewych
Brody Sutter

The Jets now have 25 forwards, 14 defencemen and five goaltenders remaining at training camp.
