Winnipeg Jets re-assign Eddie Pasquale to IceCaps

Another day another move as the Jets got their training camp roster down to 26 as they sent their third goalie in camp back to the IceCaps.

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned goaltender Eddie Pasquale to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Pasquale, 22, played in 43 games last season with the St. John’s IceCaps. In that time, the Toronto, ON netminder earned a 15-23-4 record, 2.79 goals against average and 0.907 save percentage. During the 2011-12 season, Pasquale played in 38 games for the IceCaps accumulating a 23-12-1 record, 2.41 goals against average and 0.911 save percentage. As a result, he was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team and was selected as the IceCaps Top Rookie.

Pasquale was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 117th overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft.
