The Jets roster yesterday was at 25 (26 with Tyler Myers who is on IR) as they were still in the holiday freeze so were allowed to exceed the normal 23 man roster requirements. That grace period ended today and the team re-asssigned Andrew Copp and Brandon Tanev to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Neither player requires waivers to be sent down to the Moose.
Andrew Copp has played in 25 games this season with the Jets adding four goals and three assists. Brandon Tanev has played 35 games with the Jets and has two goals and two assists.
Update: Both players were on the ice for the Manitoba Moose skate at the IcePlex and following same I spoke with both players which you can listen to here.
