Winnipeg Jets Rasmus Kupari will not return to tonight’s game due to a upper body injury

The Jets were already shorthanded from a forwards perspective as they chose to go 11/7 inserting Logan Stanley into the lineup instead of David Gustafsson.

And after 20 minutes they are going to be down to 10 forwards as Rasmus Kupari left the game in the 1st period against the Devils after he went into the boards somewhat awkwardly.

It wasn’t clear what was impacted but it was on his right side and it caused him to leave the ice and head right to the Winnipeg dressing room.

The team announced during the 1st intermission that he was done for the night.

Update:

Associate coach Scott Arniel said it was a shoulder injury for Rasmus Kupari. He will be evaluated further on Wednesday.
