Winnipeg Jets put Matt Halischuk on waivers

With the return of Mathieu Perreault and Adam Lowry the Jets needed to make some room on the roster and coach Maurice announced in his pre-game chat today at the MTS Centre that the team will put Matt Halischuk on waivers. Since his recall from the Moose on January 13th, 2016 he has played six games for Winnipeg recording no points.
