Winnipeg Jets prospect Nic Petan doesn’t return after hit

Last night Jets prospect Nic Petan was playing with his Portland Winterhawks at home in a game against the Seattle Thunderbirds in WHL action.  He took a pretty brutal hit to the head by the Thunderbirds Evan Wardley who was given a five minute major for the hit.  We will advise as to Petan’s status when we hear more.  For now here is the hit that cost him the rest of last night’s game:

Our thanks to Guy Flaming (The Pipeline Show on TSN 1260) for alerting us to the injury.
