Winnipeg Jets prospect Garrett Brown not skating at Development Camp after having shoulder surgery; expected to be good for start of season

For the second straight Development Camp here in Winnipeg one of the prospects who was listed but not seen on the ice was Jets 2022 4th rounder Garrett Brown. Last summer he missed it due to a lower-body injury.

He hasn’t been on the ice here in Winnipeg for the 2025 camp and I was told it was because he had had shoulder surgery which explains his absence from the ice. I was also told the expectation is he should be good to go when the 2025-26 season gets underway.

He’s a stay at home big body defenceman who won a National Championship with Denver in 2024.
