On Friday night in downtown Winnipeg the Moose and Senators were doing battle in some AHL action when Jets prospect defenceman Elias Salomonsson was crushed into the boards with just over 12 minutes left in the game. From the way he reacted to the hit the prognosis didn’t seem very good. If you missed the hit here it was:
He didn’t play in the next game on Saturday night which concluded six games at home.
