Winnipeg Jets prospect Croix Evingson to start pro career in ECHL with Jacksonville

Jets 2017 7th rounder Croix Evingson is ready to make the jump to the pro ranks and will start in the ECHL with the Jets and Moose affiliate in Jacksonville according to the team which published a release today.

The big (6’5″) defenceman spent this past season at Niagara University after he sat out his junior year due to his transferring from UMass-Lowell after the 2018-19 season.  He had one goal and 11 assists in 21 games for the Purple Eagles.

With a glut of D prospects with the Moose it will be a good opportunity for the Anchorage, Alaska product to start his career with the Icemen.
