The Jets are 2-0-0-1 in the pre-season so far after the Flames spoiled the party with a 3-2 shootout win on Wednesday night in Winnipeg. The local NHL club looks to get back on track when they take a young Jets group to Ottawa to take on the Senators.
This is likely the last chance for most of these players to “make an impression” with cuts coming and the expectations that the final two exhibition games will be played by the veterans/players expected to be on Jets roster to start the season.
We’ve learned the playing group will be made up as follows:
Forwards (12): Jansen Harkins, David Gustafsson, Dominic Toninato, Jeffrey Viel, Morgan Barron, Daniel Torgersson, Brad Lambert, Chaz Lucius, Jeff Malott, Axel Jonsson-Fjallby, Parker Ford and Kristian Reichel.
Defence (7): Ville Heinola, Simon Lundmark, Declan Chisholm, Dylan Samberg, Elias Salomonsson, Logan Stanley and Dean Stewart.
Goalies (2): Laurent Brossoit and Collin Delia
This is how things will look tonight:
Barron-Lucius-Ford
Harkins-Lambert-Jonsson-Fjallby
Torgersson-Toninato-Viel
Malott-Gustafsson-Reichel
Samberg – Heinola
Stanley- Salomonsson
Chisholm- Lundmark
Brossoit
Delia
