The Jets were off on Monday with left unanswered the question about Neal Pionk‘s health. Pionk left the game on Sunday afternoon after just a couple of shifts. The Moose jumbled their D pairs on Monday which was a bit unusual given they’ve won six straight but was likely precautionary if Winnipeg decided they needed to make a recall.
Recall news:
As expected the Jets announced that 2022 2nd rounder Elias Salomonsson had been recalled.
Pre-skate news:
Perhaps somewhat unexpectedly given the recall news defencman Neal Pionk was taking some twirls around the ice ahead of practice.
Skate news:
As per IC intern Zachary Nolan it appears Elias Salomonsson will draw in based on the D pairings.

Health news:
Sounds like they got some good news on Neal Pionk who was labelled by Jets bench boss Scott Arniel as day-to-day meaning they avoided a more serious injury.
