The Jets are in El Segundo, California for a practice as they look to erase the memory of their loss on Tuesday night in Los Angeles and turn their focus to a Sharks team with oodles of talent but still working on getting to the next level.

Perhaps we get an update on Luke Schenn who was supposed to play in the game against the Kings two days ago but was replaced by Colin Miller. Might Cole Perfetti or Dylan Samberg be ready for contact? Probably early for that but something worth watching for.

The Jets also placed Gustav Nyqusit on IR retroactive to October 30th which was a move to make room on the roster for Adam Lowry when he was activated to play and meant they didn’t have to make any other roster adjustments. When Nyquist is ready to return they’ll presumably put Morgan Barron, who is out week-to-week, on IR to keep Lambert, Chibrikov and Ford up with the big club. Of course when Perfetti & Samberg are ready to return then there will be moves that have to be made.

Skate news:

According to radio colour analyst Mitchell Clinton everyone was present and accounted for that you’d expect to be skating. As well he said both Cole Perfetti and Dylan Samberg remain in non-contact uniforms.
