The Jets split their two games at home to kick off the season picking up a win yesterday when they defeated the Kings 3-2. The big question mark is the health of Haydn Fleury who took a shot off the kneecap in the game in the 2nd period and didn’t return (aside from testing it out before the 3rd period got underway).
Recall news:
We got a bit of a hint on how things are for Fleury ahead of skate as the Jets announced they have recalled Kale Clague from the Moose and accordingly loaned Brad Lambert to Manitoba. Will be interesting to see if the Finn plays in the Moose game at 2 PM.
Skate news:
As per Mitchell Clinton no changes to the forward groups from the game yesterday and they’ve got Colin Miller on his offside with Luke Schenn while moving Logan Stanley up to play with Neil Pionk. Kale Clague is the extra Dman. Also no Connor Hellebuyck who tends to skip practice occasionally with Jason Kasdorf filling in.
Lines and D pairs:

Iafallo-Toews-Chibrikov
Niederreiter-Namestnikov-Nyquist

Health update:
After practice head coach Scott Arniel confirmed that Fleury was day-to-day. He told assembled media that “Bad bruise here. We’ll see. Go day-to-day here. See how he is tomorrow. If he’s ready to go we’ll throw him back in the lineup. But we’ll just take it day-to-day.”.
Mitchell Clinton did confirm that Dylan Samberg joined Adam Lowry‘s IR skate.
