The Jets and Stars played a wild and chaotic home opener which saw Winnipeg fall short of completing an improbable comeback against Dallas. They have no time to lament the loss as they face a Kings team who will play an afternoon contest on Saturday.

The biggest question mark for the organization will be whether or not David Gustafsson, who was put on waivers on Thursday, gets claimed or if he gets down to the Moose.
