Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

While Jonathan Toews wasn’t on the Jets 23-man roster that was released yesterday morning he was on the 2nd line when Winnipeg hit the ice yesterday morning for the first practice of the regular season. Today will provide a good indication if he’s ready to be added to the active roster or remain on the non-roster IR.

We were awaiting word of a potential Kyle Connor long-term extension with Winnipeg which the insiders were reporting was getting closer last night and was announced this morning.
