Coach’s comments:
Jets coach Scott Arniel on the organization giving Luke Schenn time to go to Nashville to see his young family.
“I know he’s told you guys the story. It’s been whirlwind for him. He hasn’t gotten off that merry-go-round. It’s been just spinning for him. He’s got three young kids, another chance for him to kinda find that while we can, ’cause (after the four games at home) we take off again for the road and I just wanted to make sure that he gets to have that time with his family. We are late in the year and we’ve all been playing a lot of hockey, for him to miss today’s practice I don’t think is a big deal for him to jump back in tomorrow.”
