The Jets will have plenty of practice days with seven straight home games remaining of this eight-game homestand which head coach Scott Arniel yesterday said would encompass 19 days which leaves plenty of time for the team to practice. Probably a good thing after allowing two points to slip away last night in a 4-3 OT loss to the Ducks.
Skate news:
It’s an optional today and tomorrow so half the guys are taking it and the others are not. Guys skating today included Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari, David Gustafsson, Dominic Toninato, Morgan Barron, Cole Perfetti, Nikolaj Ehlers, Dylan Samberg (non-contact), Neal Pionk, Ville Heinola, Dylan Coghlan and Dylan DeMelo. Both Connor Hellebuyck and Eric Comrie skated as well.
Dylan Samberg continues to skate in a yellow, non-contact uniform but is moving very well as he recovers from his broken foot suffered back on November 23rd.
