The Jets traveled yesterday afternoon to Washington State as they had a few days between games in this home-and-home set with the Kraken which concludes on Friday night. The biggest question mark remains the status of Gabriel Vilardi who missed his third straight game on Tuesday and which head coach Rick Bowness simply advised that he would be with the team on the road trip and that there would be an update on Friday.

Skate news:

As per Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press a few players missing from skate this morning in Seattle including Mason Appleton, Connor Hellebuyck, Gabriel Vilardi, and Adam Lowry. He provides an update on line rushes although it comes with a qualifer that guys above are missing so take with grain of salt.

Lines & D pairs:

Connor-Scheifele-Namestnikov
Ehlers-Monahan-Iafallo
Niederreiter-Perfetti-Barron
Gustafsson-Kupari

Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Samberg-Stanley
Schmidt

Health update:

Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press asked for an update on Gabriel Vilardi and Rick Bowness indicated that Vilardi would not play in either of the games this weekend.

Goalie plan:

Asked about the plan for his goalies in this back-to-back Bowness said they’ll decide tomorrow as Connor Hellebuyck is “under the weather a little bit so we’ll see how he’s feeling and go from there.”
