The Jets will hit the ice in downtown Winnipeg for practice as they get back on the ice following a day off on Wednesday. Today they will get set to face the Hawks tomorrow night in Chicago for a quick, one-game road trip to Illinois.
There is some consternation that the 5 on 5 game of the NHL club of Manitoba has fallen of late although this has been offset by the suddenly red-hot power play. Suspect the team will be working on their details today in practice as they try to get back to the standard they’ve set for themselves all season long.

Health update:
Head coach Rick Bowness said that Nikolaj Ehlers is dealing with something so they are keeping him off the ice to manage it “he’s been battling it for a little bit now”. Called it a nagging injury. But he does expect him to play tomorrow. Said “You hope he’s feeling better tomorrow but again if it’s sore we’re not going to make it any worse lets put it that way.”
