The Jets added to their standings bank last night picking up a 5-2 win over the Red Wings as they continue their successful run against Eastern Conference opponents  (8-0-3) which will be tested when they face a formidable Bruins club tomorrow night. Winnipeg is having a December to remember as they’ve gone 7-1-1 during this month as they sit atop the Central standings.

Skate news:

Ville Heinola (yellow, non-contact), Declan Chisholm and Logan Stanley were the early birds for today’s optional Jets practice which started at noon. They were followed by Mark Scheifele, Dominic Toninato, David Gustafsson, Nino Niederreiter, Rasmus Kupari (yellow, non-contact) and Nikolaj Ehlers.

Practice goalie Jason Kasdorf is here as are coaches Marty Johnston and Brad Lauer.
