The Jets and Ducks did battle last night which saw the visitors skate away with a 3-2 win to kick off the road trip with an important victory as they banked two more points for the standings bank. It allowed them to maintain their position with the Preds who also won last night (5 back with three games in hand) and to put some more distance on the Flames who lost to the Golden Knights in regulation.
Skate news:
Murat Ates of The Athletic Winnipeg is in El Segundo for practice and he provides the lines and D pairs below. Based on this it seems reasonable to infer that Dylan Samberg will return to the lineup for Kyle Capobianco when they take on the Kings in a Saturday matinee. Of course we will have to wait and see if head coach Rick Bowness confirms.
Lines and D pairs:
Connor-Dubois-Niederreiter
Namestnikov-Lowry-Appleton
Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler
Barron-Stenlund-Maenalanen
