After a day off the Jets hit the ice as they get to (potentially) face former winger Patrik Laine and his Columbus Blue Jackets squad as they arrive in town for a game against Winnipeg. I suggest potentially because Laine has been injured. However, it was reported by Aaron Portzline of The Athletic that there is “an outside shot he returns to the lineup” tomorrow night. It isn’t all sunshine and roses in Columbus as they deal with some 1/4 season injuries as per Jeff Svoboda who indicated “Johnny Gaudreau, Yegor Chinakhov, Mathieu Olivier and Daniil Tarasov” didn’t practice yesterday.
The Blue Jackets limp into town with a 1-4-1 record on the road sitting in the 8th and final spot in the Metro Division with an overall record of 7-12-2. They have a -27 goal differential
Skate news:
