The Jets have four home games remaining as they look to close out the final regular season homestand with a good showing for their fans as captain Blake Wheeler acknowledged on Thursday in Carolina.
Still plenty of questions marks including health updates on Mark Scheifele and Cole Perfetti
Transaction news:
The Jets reassigned goalie Mikhail Berdin to the Moose this morning which means the emergency condition (Connor Hellebuyck being under the weather) no longer exists.
Skate news:
As per Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet no Zach Sanford or Nate Schmidt this morning. According to the lines Wieber tweeted (see below) Jansen Harkins moved onto a line with Connor and Dubois.

Health news:
It is not a shock but with just eight days and four games left in the season interim head coach Dave Lowry advised during his media availability that both Mark Scheifele (more here) and Cole Perfetti (more here) are not expected to play again this season. Lastly, for tomorrow’s game Zach Sanford is out and Nate Schmidt is a game-time decision. Perhaps it is time to see what you’ve got in 2017 5th rounder Leon Gawanke, a right shot defenceman who has had a bounce back season and who will not be waiver exempt next year.

Topics:
1) Update on Mark Scheifele & Cole Perfetti?
2) Clarity on injury information he shares with media.
3) The team’s 3rd periods on the road, have they run out of gas?
4) Why have they decided not to make recalls from the Moose?
5) What can a long AHL playoff run do for the prospects.
6) Does he have a goalie plan for the final four games?
7) What can playing close to 20 games for Eric Comrie?
8) Has he noticed the “younger guys” like Connor/Ehlers to have a new voice.
9) A way of doing that without saying incendiary things.
10) Are there a lot of guys in the room who need to audition?
11) How he’s handling the final eight days of the regular season.
12) Status of Zach Sanford and Nate Schmidt?
