The Jets will kick off 2022 with one final practice here in Winnipeg after a stretch that hasn’t see them play a game since December 23rd and instead practice seven, now eight times, during that stretch.
The team are expecting Andrew Copp to join them in Nevada tomorrow and for the versatile forward to be a player when they take on the Golden Knights tomorrow afternoon. While not expected to see game action, at least right away, they will be taking 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti on the road with them as he celebrates his 20th bday today.
Recall news:
The Jets got themselves some goalie insurance for the road as they announced they had recalled 2017 6th rounder Arvid Holm from the Moose this morning. The netminder has had a good season for Manitoba so far going 5-2-1.
