Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun indicated that Blake Wheeler was absent from practice today as the Jets got back to skating in advance of a Wednesday night contest against the Leafs at the MTS Centre.  Ted added that “Maurice putting #NHLJets through prolonged hard skate with no pucks at practice this morning”.

Coach Maurice added following skate that Wheeler is “fine”.
