The Jets hit the ice today in Denver at the University of Denver as they get ready to conclude 2019 tomorrow night against the Avalanche.

Skate News:

As per Jamie Thomas of Jets TV veteran forward Mathieu Perreault is in a regular uniform for today’s optional skate.  According to Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg the only players skating are: Patrik Laine, Nikolaj Ehlers, Mathieu Perreault, Jack Roslovic, Mason Appleton, Logan Shaw, Joona Luoto, Jansen Harkins, Anthony Bitetto, Tucker Poolman, Carl Dahlstrom, Laurent Brossoit and Connor Hellebuyck.

Coach Maurice:  The selection of Hellebuyck and Scheifele as All-Stars.  Whether it means something to a player to be selected.  How he managed today with his players.  Will Mathieu Perreault be a player tomorrow?

Health Update:

Coach Maurice on veteran Mathieu Perreault who skated in a regular jersey and whether he would be a player tomorrow “For him to come off IR we wait ’til the last minute.  We’ll get him through the morning skate tomorrow and make that decision but he’s feeling strong.”
