The Jets picked up a big win in southern Florida last night as they beat the Panthers 4-3 in regulation and will have another tough test tomorrow when they take on the team based on the west coast of the state.  Tampa took down the Rangers 9-3 Thursday evening.

Skate News:

As per Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun all Jets have hit the ice for today’s practice except for defenceman Dmitry Kulikov.

Audio:

Andrew Copp spoke about his growing role on the Jets including his addition to the power play and the different styles of teams they are facing and how they adapt to them.

Nikolaj Ehlers on how the Jets have played on the road, importance of team defence, stats vs bigger picture and how the revamped D corp has done this season.

Coach Maurice: What has the Scheifele line done well together?  On the overhaul of the D group and the change it meant for the team.  Is there more onus on the young forwards?  More on the need for the forwards to be supportive of the D.  Is he finding something new about Andrew Copp each year?  On Copp earning what he has achieved.  How would he describe his team after the first 1/4 of the season?  Status of Kulikov?
