Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

Last night’s heartbreaking loss to the Sharks with under five seconds to go in the 3rd saw the Jets drop the first game of three straight at Bell MTS Place.  The team is scheduled to practice today as they get ready to face Boston who are the second best team in the Eastern Confernece.

Coach Maurice:  Update on Blake Wheeler and Nathan Beaulieu?  How did he approach the day?  How does he look at that last play of the game which led to the goal against?  Is there a difference in Connor Hellebuyck this season?  Is the focus with 13 games left trying to eliminate those high-danger chances?  With the offensive talent of this team is simplicity one of the toughest things to combat?  How is he seeing teams defend the Jets differently?  On Nikolaj Ehlers owning his mistake.  Anything new on the three injured D?

Health News:

With both Blake Wheeler and Nathan Beaulieu missing from skate naturally the first question to coach Maurice was about their status to which he indicated “They’ll be fine for tomorrow.”  When asked if he had anything new on Dustin Byfuglien, Josh Morrissey or Joe Morrow the Jets bench boss said he had “Nothing at all.”
