Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

The Jets were scheduled to hit the ice as they prepare to conclude the three-game home stand against the Golden Knights on Tuesday night.

Practice Notes:

It was an optional skate today with nine Jets players skating including Laine, Appleton, Roslovic, Petan, Lemieux, Myers, Niku, Chiarot and Kulikov as well as both goalies.  Tyler Myers looked good in the on-ice drills he was doing with assistant coach Todd Woodcroft.

Coach Maurice: What does he recall from the series with Vegas?  On his ability to recall facts from past games.  The play of Vegas this season.  Challenge getting up for games in January.  Does he apply the lesson from Nashville to tomorrow’s game?  What is the main area of focus for forward defensive positioning?  On getting the puck back.  On changing D players and difficulty in forwards reading plays.  How did he get his team to shave the minors down?  Playing an aggressive style so how difficult is it to reduce penalties.

Up Next:
