The Jets are coming off a 4-3 win over the Oilers on New Years Eve and a successful Skills Competition on Wednesday. Today they are at Bell MTS Place for their first on-ice practice in awhile as they get ready to head east to Pennsylvania for a one-game road trip. The Penguins are red-hot having won seven straight games which has vaulted them into 2nd place in the Metropolitan Division just one point behind 1st place Washington.

Coach Maurice: On Copp moving to the middle of the 4th line. Is it not a “demotion” for Copp going from the TLC line to 4th but an increase in responsibility playing with young wingers? On Jack Roslovic’s long term development. On Blake Wheeler as a shooter. His thoughts on Wheeler and Scheifele being selected to the All-Star game. Has it crossed his mind that he might be the coach in the All-Star game?
